Academic Faculty - Dr. Christos Tsinopoulos BEng, MSc, PhD
Christos has been a lecturer at Durham Business School since September 2003, where he
teaches courses on operations strategy and project management at the MBA, executive education,
and MA classes. His research examines various aspects of innovation and operations strategy in
the pharmaceutical and manufacturing industries.
Christos has a PhD from the University of Warwick as well as Bachelor and Master degrees in Mechanical
Engineering from the University of Sheffield.
Christos is an assessor of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers' Manufacturing Excellence awards,
and a visiting scholar at Duke University Fuqua Business School. He has been a research fellow in new
product development at the Warwick Manufacturing Group as well as a quality and maintenance engineer for
copper and aluminium industries in Greece. Christos is an ad hoc reviewer for the Journal of Product and
Innovation Management, the Journal of Management Studies, Management Decision, the International Journal of
Technology Management, and the Academy of Management (Technology and Innovation Management division).
